Spelling Buddies

Every week we do spelling buddies.On monday we choose and practise them.On tuesday we do look say cover write cheak.On wendsday we do buddie test.friday we do the real test with our budie in the back of our word study.we have prtend lap toon thursday we do word observations.On ps to practise them.

Today in Reading groups we had to do a play on Goldielocks. First we read the book and then decided the charaters. The other groups did the same thing but on different books. In our group i think Meg did a great job as Grandpa bear.

Everyday Poems

In class we are learning how to do everyday poems this is one that i made up called ' The smelly family '
Our family smells
Yuck
I can't take the smell
Mum I think the dog pooed
Yuck

Best Friends

One day , there were six friends Miyoko , Alanah , Brittany , Charlotte , Georgia and Monica . But one day Monica got angry with Brittany because she gave Miyoko chocolate but not her . Brittany said it was because she didn't have any manners ; Like when she burped she didn't say excuse me and Miyoko did . But Alanah said Brittany was very angry because she just took her chocolate without asking . So all the six friends decided to teach Monica some manners . The first thing they taught Monica to do was say please and excuse me . She wasn't so good at saying please but she got it . Touch Down On The Red Planet

I wrote a story called Touch down on the red planet and this is how the story goes.It had been a tough first day.Just getting to Mars had been dangerous enough but it was nothing to what happend on our first day.No-one would ever believe it.When the space ship landed Alanah got out she was so excited and very brave but Joe wasn't going to come out he was too scared so Alanah had to drag him out. They started to have a look around then they heard a loud crashing sound there space ship had blew up. Joe then got extremly scared but they kept on looking around the Red Planet started to look like a zoo with animals. They found two monkeysnamed monkey one and monkey two.They asked if they could show them around. Alanah said yes. Monkey one showed then their friend slimy the snake. Monkey one said they had got moved here by the evil koala Koko and it was way to hot to live on the planet. Joe and Alanah said they would help them take everything back on the monkeys space ship to where they lived because the monkeys couldn't drive they said that would be lovely. They started to put all of the stuff in their space ship named Mr non no blow because he was the biggest and best space ship ever invented.When they got down to earth and had given them to a zoo they had realized they had left the evil koala Koko on the Red Planet ...never mind.

Jobs

In my class we have a roster of jobs to do these are the jobs we have.
prayer,messanger,tuckshop,libary,class room helpers,phone,posting and photos,white board,windows,shelves,sinks and benches,computers and lights and fans.

Don't break the ice

Don't break the ice is when everybody stands around in a circle and practises there words like And.So everybody starting from the first person says the right letters if you get it wrong you sit down .Also when you get to the end of the word each person has to say don't break the ice and the person on ice sits down the last person standing wins.

Star of the day

Star of the day is when a person gets chosen to sit in the middle and be the star.Then everybody says something nice about you .You also get a sticker and your name in the star.

Wild Self

Who am I ?.. I have bat wings,elephant feet.giraffe legs a zebra tail,rhino horns and a snake tongue.Who am I ?...

Word Wall Words

Word wall words is when we use our spelling words for the week and put them on the wall.Then the teacher picks five people to pick a card on the cards there are things like movie star kisses so then for each letter you have to be a movie star and blow kisses.
