Here I will tell you what I do in Numeracy Block

Time

Today in Maths we learnt about time. We played a game called whats the time Mr wolf. We also learnt how to tell digital time and analog time.

Maths

In Numeracy we had to fill out a sheet with money. It had an amount of money on it you had to work out with coins or notes 2 ways to make it.It was an easy sheet .

3d shapes

In class we are learning about shapes like a pyramid. To help us learn about the shapes we play celebrity heads this is how the game is played. There are 3 people and they have to stand out the front while Mrs R writes there shape above their head than they take turns to ask a question like does it have a apex.

Around the classroom

In maths we play a game to warm up my favourite is around the classroom this is how it works. The teacher chooses some one to start then the person next to them stands behind them. After that the teacher gives us a sum and the first person to answer it goes to the next person. At the end everybody says how many spaces they have moved the person that had moved the most spaces wins.

What is a typical year 4\5 student

In Numeracy today we had to find out what is a typical year4\5 student .I found out that a typical year4\5 student has brown hair has blue eyes and their favourite food is chips.I learnt how to draw up a graph .A graph needs a title the number of how many children you asked and a tile on the x axis and a title on the y axis.

You are the teacher

You are the teacher is when you teach the class something you have learnt like how to make a paper aeroplane.I taught the class how to draw a spider.I thought it went okay a few people needed help but they all understood it.
